Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Inspire Workplace Wellbeing Awards, due to have take place on 22nd October 2020 at Titanic Belfast, have been postponed until 2021.
The awards recognise the efforts made by many organisations that go the extra mile to nurture the mental health and wellbeing of employees.
Inspire took the decision as the global health crisis continues and uncertainty for businesses is strong across Northern Ireland.
John Conaghan, Group Director of Professional Services at Inspire, said:
"We have made the decision to postpone the Workplace Wellbeing Awards because the health of our staff and our applicants is paramount.
“The awards have been growing year on year since we launched and we were looking forward to celebrating in 2020. However, it is now apparent the correct decision is to hold the awards at a later date. Now, more than ever, employee wellbeing is being put first by organisations across Northern Ireland who are putting the health of their staff before anything else. We applaud all organisations who are, in challenging times, ensuring that workplace safety – both physically and mentally – is of the highest importance.
“When we host our awards in 2021, we will be ready to celebrate all the brilliant employers that are doing extraordinary work to improve and support a positive and resilient workforce in what we hope will be more stable times.”
